Gods approach Mahādevī; She answers as the form of Brahman.

The Goddess as supreme reality and source of existence.

The Devī Upanishad opens with the gods standing before the Great Goddess: ‘Who are you?’ She answers that She is the form of Brahman, and that from Her the world of prakṛti and puruṣa arises — empty and not-empty together.

This library follows the Muktikopaniṣad list already on this site: number 81, Atharvaveda. Sanskrit Documents’ handbook numbers the same text 89/108. Both numbers are kept; neither is silently corrected.
