    Sri Meenananda Tirthanath

Sri Meenananda Tirthanath is a teacher, musician and founder of the Ashram, which he established with Guruma Minakshi Devyomba.

Sri Meenananda Tirthanath was born in Uttarpara, Hooghly, into a family rooted in Tantric spiritual practice. His father, the late Koula Obodhut Sri Shyamananda Tirthanath, and his mother, the late Koula Obodhuti Shyama Devyomba, are remembered in the shrine. Their portraits stand before Maa.

Initiated at an early age, he travelled widely across India and the Himalayas before establishing his public teaching and service through Shree Meenananda Ashram and Meenananda Foundation. He teaches Tantra openly, without regard to a visitor’s religion or race.

    Guruma

Guruma Minakshi Devyomba built the Ashram with Guruji. Her advent tithi is observed at the Ashram; the official channel records clothing distribution on that day in 2024 and 2025.
